We adopted our dog from AWLA 2 years ago. She was an older stray who came in with heart worms. We had never dealt with heart worms before. The staff guided us through the treatment, and Noodle is thriving! When my mother in law was ready to adopt a cat a few months later, we headed right back to AWLA!
