My Nonprofit Reviews
Samuel W.
Review for National Novel Writing Month, Berkeley, CA, USA
The Office of Letters and Light, specifically NaNoWriMo, saved my life. Well, it's done a lot more than that too. Firstly though, it got me through the death of my fiancé. She went for surgery the first November I attempted NaNoWriMo and it was just my way of coping. I wrote my novel in 7 days and ended up writing another one before the close of the month. Now, I don't want to juxtapose so I'll add in some random filler about how NaNo and Script Frenzy have been the perfect help in finding my way to my posse and becoming the better writing that I dream to be. And the best part? Through the OLL I found my wonderful girlfriend and life is just booming. Because of all this, the amazing people I've found and the countless times it has helped me fight off bone-breaking depression I'd give an arm and a leg to keep the OLL going.
