the response to my inquiry was very quick, and all of my references received a phone call within days of my application. The facility itself was very well organized and clean. I was impressed by the accommodations allowed for each pet- having there own indoor and outdoor access. The play yard and grounds were well maintained and very comfortable. I could tell that Colleen takes her work very seriously and cares deeply for each and every animal at the sanctuary. She made the adoption process thorough and complete, and respected the plan that I had going forward. If I were a rescue animal I would appreciate living at Sanctuary One for sure.
