PNA and Mr. Patrick de Haan (aka Santa) have been bringing Christmas cheer to my school for several years. Half our population consists of self-contained special education students. ALL of them, plus every Kindergarten through third grade class goes through the North Pole Experience. All students, and so many staff, enjoy singing holiday songs with the Karaoke machine, wearing costumes, helping conduct the Polar Express model train, and learning about the history of Santa and the North Pole. Every single child leaves the experience with a book, a toy, and a huge smile. As a school, it is our favorite event of the year. PNA is an invaluable part of our school family, and we are grateful to each one of their volunteers!
