I am here today because of Arabian Rescue Mission.
I support the Mission and Terry.
My meaning, however, is more literal.
I met my Minya through ARM.
Terry rescued her from a kill pen.
I rescued Minya, adopting her through ARM.
Minya is now rescuing me.
Were it not for the hard work and dedication of this organization, our story would not exist. I would not be where I am today.
I have met many of the horses Terry has rescued. They have all been solid, kind sturdy, and willing. Her ability to see what lies beneath the fear, to recognize the potential within them is uncanny. She knows her stuff. Her dedication and passion makes this world a better place. The ripple effect this mission has is far reaching.
Minya and I met at a foster facility. I was not even looking for another horse. Still, we found each other and I could not forget Minya. Within a month I reached out to make my application for Adoption. Terry helped me through every step with thorough patience. She truly cares about about ensuring the health, well-being and rehabilitation of her adoptees and still checks on us regularly.
This world is a much better place because of Terry and ARM.
My Minya and I are inseparable. This horse, this Mission, this experience has changed my life, saved my life. This small mare with a huge heart and willingness to trust despite all she has endured is teaching me how to find joy again. That and so much more.
There are not enough words on this planet to describe the gratitude I have for Terry and the Arabian Rescue Mission.
Our story is still just beginning. Our dreams are coming true. I cannot imagine my life without Minya now!
