Hosting exchange students has become a part of the fabric of our family. For the past 13 years we’ve added 20 children to lives. The relationships we have don’t stop at the end of the school year when they return back to their home countries. Our lives are filled with frequent texts, FaceTime calls, Zoom game nights, and return visits from our kids. We even had an International Family Reunion last summer during which all of our kids returned (with only one exception; our Finnish daughter who couldn’t come because of her dental school schedule). The joy, love, and laughter filled our home with all of them getting to know each other in person after only hearing about one another through our stories. SHARE is an amazing organization which provides the opportunity of a lifetime to grow your family and share the world. Our coordinator, Danielle, is a great partner to work with and is always available to both us and the students to provide support. We look forward to continuing to grow our family year after year!
