My sister-in-law told me about Elliott Advocacy when I mentioned how I couldn't get a refund for a canceled codeshare flight after nearly a year of trying. My refund had been denied due to 1) the airline saying that the flight had not been canceled (it was), and 2) the carrier from whom I purchased the ticket saying I had to get the funds from the airline that operated the flight.

Elliott Advocacy's Dwayne Coward advised me on the steps I could take. After Dwayne saw that I had done all I could and that the travel agency was the main problem, he contacted the agency for me. In less than 2 weeks, the travel group called AND emailed me to say it had dropped the ball. The manager gave me double the refund that I was actually due because I had waited so long.

I not only learned what to avoid in future consumer issues, but how to politely interact with a company and get everything in writing. I was very pleased with Dwayne Coward and Elliott Advocacy's insight!
