Your generous donation has tremendously helped in caring for these five horses. On November 15. Makayla was in a terrible car accident which is left her paralyzed from her waist down for the rest of her life at 18 years old. This is life altering for her and her mother, we acquired the five horses when we found out about this accident. We are fostering them so Kristian can give her daughter Makayla her full attention and be with her at her rehab center as they learn how to live like this going forward. Our hope is when she returns her horses can be returned to her care as she has owned them their entire lives. As you all know, taking on five horses as an unexpected expense is a lot and your generous donations has helped us in caring for these animals going forward. Makayla and Kristian will spend Christmas the new year and likely through February and a rehab center. please keep them in your thoughts through the holidays. we have started a GoFundMe for Makayla and Kristian as Kristian will be out of work as a single mom with two children while she is at the rehab center with Makayla where they will have to pay mostly out of pocket. The GoFundMe page is to help her with all of her hospital expenses, as well as hotels food things like that bills while she is not working. we took on the horses fully vet bills Ferrier feed hay as she needs every donation on that GoFundMe to go to those bills. So we really appreciate your donation and helping us as well as her while we have taking on these five horses and their expenses.
