I am a Veteran Spouse and caregiver. I was feeling lost and alone, wondering if I was the only Veteran spouse going through the the things I was while caring for my Veteran Spouse with PTSD and other physical disabilities he acquired from his military service. I was feeling exhausted emotionally and feeling disconnected. During the Spousal and Caregiver support group, other activates and events by Operation Ray of light I learned that I was not alone and there are other spouses and caregivers in similar situations.
I have also, learned ways I can help my Veteran during difficult times and he now has a support group. For me I now have a support group for myself during those difficult times
