I work with Kids Impact Community, an organization that coordinates service projects for kids ages 0-tween and their families. We have worked with Kids Matter Inc on one of our biggest projects of the year for MLK National Day of Service. During the pandemic, we held a virtual program during which the Kids Matter staff introduced our families to foster care through picture books and engaging conversation. With a great understanding of the value of their project, we then sent our families off to collect items to fill duffel bags for the foster children served by Kids Matter Inc. Our kids and families then met together at the Kids Matter offices to drop off the stuffed duffel bags. It has been an incredible project and a favorite amongst our families. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to work with Kids Matter Inc. and support their critically important mission.
