This would be the first organization that I would learn of when I heard the terrifiying words that my son has cancer. I learned of this organization when I was given a bag. This was a tote that contained so many things that would help distract our mind and help us get through the first few days and a bag that said that someone outside of these walls nderstands and cares for families like mine. This bag would become my hospital bag that I had packed for those unexpected hospitalizations.
