I have been volunteering with Project My Day Inc. since April 2023.
What Amanda Oberpriller has created is absolutely amazing and when I heard about what she was planning I knew I wanted to be apart of her cause to provide personalized gifts for these children (birth-21 years old) in the foster care system on their special days.
She has drempt of this for many years and now it's become a reality for her. I am so happy to be involved with Project My Day Inc. and all that it represents for these kids in Dutchess and Orange county foster care systems. I may not be able to see the child's face when they get their gift but in my heart I know I am putting a smile on a childs face and making a difference in that child's life.
I was apart of her bowling fundraiser a couple months back and it was a success and the organization made their goal.
I can't wait for the next foundraiser which will be on Sunday, November 19th 2023 A Holiday kickoff Fashion show in Poughkeepsie, NY. *Details our on her website and Facebook page.*
She takes so much time and energy into what she does I am sure this event will be a huge success as well.
