Nicky helped me rescue 2 horses in Charleston WV 13 yrs ago, before she started her non profit rescue. The horses were so bad the mare could barely stand. I lost that mare on Christmas day 2022, she was 38/39 years old. I have watched Nicky, start, build and love what's she's doing with her rescue. She's beat alot of odds, personal and professional and I dont know of many deserving the recognition of her work. She's the real deal. Blood, sweat and tears go into every horse, pony, donkey or mule she takes in. I'm honored to call her friend.
