My friend Lantz had so many good qualities that made him stand out from the rest. He was fiercely loyal, endlessly generous, and always thinking of others. Something that really bonded us was our shared love of animals. His mother, Crystal, is beautifully keeping his spirit alive in all it's loyalty, generosity, and compassion for those in need by raising up those in our community who are in desperate need of it. This is the first fund I've ever seen that is designed to keep animals with their families by assisting with veterinary bills that threaten to overwhelm them. Every animal deserves the best care, and cost should be the last thing an owner should have to worry about when trying to access veterinary care for their pets. I've seen so many miracles worked by the organizers of this fund and it's supporters. This is true community care. Donating to this fund and supporting pawsitive tails allows you to see the beauty of humanity and imagine the possibilities life could hold if we all lent a hand to each other in our most vulnerable moments. Whenever I see a family supported by this fund, I am reminded of the way that Lantz held me and the people I love in our most vulnerable moments. Crystal and her family suffered a tremendous loss when Lantz passed, but through that pain, they still managed to hold on to the hope that his vision for the world could still be achieved, and they work every day to make that happen.
