My Nonprofit Reviews

Lynn Lane
Review for Stupid Cancer, New York, NY, USA
Matthew has done an amazing job of putting together and organization who truly realizes and exemplifies what their mission statement is. When I was initially diagnosed with cancer last year, i[2]y was an amazing resource and I'm so glad that it exists. It is much needed!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
advocacy and education for young adults diagnosed with cancer.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
change the age demographic to include the 40-50 year olds but that's because I fall into that category.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
their constant drive and motivation to spread their message.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
very helpful and giving.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand their outreach and educate more people about young adult cancer.
Ways to make it better...
I was younger? I actually had a great experience with i[2]y even though I am 2 years outside of the demographic that they serve. It honestly was never an issue but I have to answer these questions.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
limited resources available in the form of donations due to the economic cutback from the recession that we are in.
One thing I'd also say is that...
that i[2]y is doing a great job.
