I have worked with Briggs Animal Shelter in various capacities over the past 4 years. As an administrator at a local school, we had Ms. Megan visit classrooms with their shelter dogs, educating our students about cats, dogs, and the services Briggs provides to these animals. As a parent, my pre-teen daughter attended their Animal Advocate Summer camps 2 years in a row. She loved attending and learned about ways to advocate for animals, take care of the shelter pets, and interact with the animals. Finally, as an adopter, we recently adopted 2 kittens from Briggs this past September. Briggs does a wonderful job of caring for their animals, making sure they are socialized, vetted, and matched to the perfect family. We are so thankful for Briggs and all they did to take care of our babies, Rocket and Aelin in their first months of life! Briggs does so much to engage the community to ensure that the animals they serve get all they need for a happy life!
