I volunteered for TRR during the September 2023 iteration of their Warrior Camp. The work this organization is doing and the transformations I witnessed are nothing short of life changing. I feel privileged to have been a small part of it. The caliber of the staff was unlike anything I have experienced in my 10+ years of medical practice. Everyone I worked with was dedicated to the mission, experts in their field, and conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism.

TRR's approach of implementing highly concentrated doses of evidence based interventions over the course of a week is not anything I've seen replicated elsewhere. The results were the sort that you had to see to believe. The warriors who arrived on day one were transformed through the interdisciplinary modalities. They were lighter, brighter, and healthier by the end of the week. It was truly remarkable. Many commented how they wished this kind of treatment was available to their compatriots throughout the country.

TRR is something special in how it approaches the enormous task of ending veteran suicide. And based on what I was a part of, they are making it a reality, one combat warrior at a time.
