I spent time volunteering with this organization as they worked hard to support an increasing number of food-insecure community residents during the pandemic. I was so inspired by the amount of compassion and respect each client received, and how each North Beach Citizen employee managed to maintain composure through such an uncertain, life-threatening pandemic in order to meet the needs of our community's most vulnerable residents.
