Virginia Space Flight Academy is the epitome of a youth-serving organization that is actively working to enhance the competitiveness of future generations in all areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Based on their attention to detail, multi-faceted STEM enrichment programs, and community outreach, I have recommended their summer camp program to many families and I have also recommended undergraduate students to consider becoming camp counselors during the summer season to explore informal science education and mentorship.
