Having been to Malawi twice, on mission trips through our church, I have seen first hand many of the needs of the people suffering there in below poverty conditions.
After learning about the Malawi Project, and all that they do continuously to aid the precious Malawians, we were excited to be a part of donating to this wonderful nonprofit, and highly encourage others to do so also.
Our church heard about the plight of mothers about to give birth at the hospitals, and villages, and the high mortality rates of these mothers and their newborns because of infections.
The Malawi project gave us a list of what was needed to compile items into Life Packs to be given to the mothers in line at hospitals, or, if need be, during home deliveries. We sent 100 of these packages for birthing mothers and their newborns to the Malawi Project, who is the hub for these and many other life giving items.
We are so grateful for this avenue of helping through those who serve at the Malawi Project.
