It has been a pleasure to watch this newly created non-profit in San Diego plant the seeds to help so many Jewish individuals and employees in the Jewish community thrive and grow with interest free loans for emergency needs, life cycle events, rental assistance, and education loans. How quickly HFLSD has established strong roots to anchor the organization in the community is amazing - working with 100's of individuals and families across San Diego and still going strong. The loans are paid back at an impressive 99% rate, and the money is lent to more and more in need, like a Tree of Life! Proud and excited to support this worthwhile local organization.

On a personal note... I have met some of the borrowers and have been able to experience first hand the dramatic impact a crucial loan can have on a positive life trajectory in regard to education or a hand-up in a tough financial time.
