Review for Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI), Washington, DC, USA

During my time as an intern with EESI, I have gained valuable knowledge of the intricacies of government policy with regard to environmental issues. The staff at EESI is extremely hard-working and dedicated to their mission, and it is clear by the high attendance at our Congressional briefings that we are making an impact. EESI is a unique organization in that it seeks to educate the public and members of Congress on environmental issues without an agenda and without using scare tactics.

Attending Congressional briefings, tracking legislation, and synthesizing scientific, political, and economic climate change news.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would increase the number of environmental experts, because that can never hurt!

Role:  Volunteer & I helped compose the Climate Change News and assisted the Communications Director with Congressional briefings.
