We are so fortunate to have this organization in Virginia. They are always just a phone call away if you have any questions. I would not have had the confidence to start homeschooling years ago if I had not read The Virginia Homeschool Manual: A Comprehensive Guide to Home Education in Virginia that they publish. Each year in June their huge convention is a wealth of information and refreshing for the whole family to prepare for the next homeschool year. We highly recommend any family that is even thinking about homeschooling to become a member of HEAV.
