Our autistic daughter has been participating in Spirit Equestrian Riding Therapy sessions for the last 6 months and we are pleased with the program and the volunteers that assist. Originally, our daughter had anxiety towards many animals and Spirit has helped her be at ease with horses. Their efforts have helped her develop a liking to horse-riding and she is now looking forward to her new activity every weekend. Each session, our daughter rides through a trail at Frying Pan Park and she enjoys it. We would recommend the program for special needs children to familiarize themselves with horses and different surroundings.
