I would like to begin by saying, that Veterans Transition Support, (VTS) is without a doubt, the best resource for any service member transitioning to a career outside of military service.

In addition to that, the mentoring, care and concern demonstrated by Russell Levy, went far above and beyond anything I have experienced in my 22 years of service as a Hospital Corpsman. We all need support, but Russell’s diligent dedication to personally guiding me, and continuing to provide mentoring for myself and others, is rare. The end result has been an extraordinary opportunity for me professionally.

I approached VTS as an introduction to a career in safety with their OSHA 10-hour safety course. I found the class extremely rewarding. Russell is engaging and poignant. He and his staff worked diligently to enlighten and motivate us as service members, to understand and embrace the correlation between the work we have done in military service, to what we could accomplish professionally in civilian life.

The realization that my experience could be utilized in a future career in the safety industry was a huge Epiphany for me, and everyone attending. I was extremely motivated to move forward and take advantage of an opportunity with Russell‘s recommendation and guidance. I am now on the fast track to a profession in the safety industry. As both an instructor and a human being, Russell is one of those rare people who insist on going the extra mile, and care in the extreme.
