We rescued our youngest pup through Hail Mary Rescue. We had very specific criteria for temperament because we needed a dog who would get along with our current male and a dog who would also make a good therapy dog. Cathy was so helpful during the entire process. She met with us multiple times, to allow us to meet the dog, then allow our male to meet her. She was never pushy, never gave us a hard sell; she really and truly wanted what was best for the dog. We brought the puppy home for an adoption trial and never looked back. She gets along great with our male, they romp and play, and she is keeping him young. She is also going to be an amazing therapy dog. She has charmed everyone she meets. We are so grateful that Hail Mary Rescue 1) pulled her from the shelter in St. Tammany Parish and 2) kept her in foster care for 7 months because she was just waiting for us to find her. I would definitely recommend (and, in fact, I already have) this organization to friends. They have heart, they take great care of the dogs, and they truly want the best fit.
