Hello, I am Sanjoy Paul, pursuing B.Tech. (ECE) from Asansol Engineering College, Paschim Barddhaman, West Bengal. I applied for the scholarship under Swami Dayanand Educational Foundation in the 4th Semester after getting info from a scholarship news feed followed by my elder brother. I was carrying out my degree, taking assistance from West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme and was burdened by the increasing dues in my name. The scholarship was competitive and had a well-structured selection process. I went through some basic questions related to my past and present life and future aspirations, family background, academic records and other fundamental questions. A personal interview session followed this. I was one of the three students given this scholarship from a Private educational institution. My need for the scholarship was minutely scrutinized at several stages.
I am grateful to the organization for granting me the scholarship amount of Rs. 20,000/-. The amount given helped me repay part of my dues under the educational loan of West Bengal Student Credit Card Scheme running under my name.
