The mission of CSNW is absolutely fantastic and they live it out every day. The administrators and staff are knowledgeable beyond belief. Each and every one are dedicated to making the best possible experience for the chimpanzees in their care. The daily routines, feeding experiences, enrichment and more are carefully thought out and executed. I have followed this sanctuary since nearly the first day that the original 7 came to live there. Each year improvements are made to the extent that now they even have a state of the art medical facility on-site. I cannot imagine a better place for a chimpanzee (who cannot live in the wild) to live.
