Review for Think Of Us, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 1 stars

There don't really help anyone they say they give resources but the same resources they give is easily accessible to everyone they are also contribute to the inequity and bias of certain people they want you to believe they are doing wonderful things but wheres the help when i need someone to put in a wish for one simple wish they 1st act like they care to then just change there mind at the last minute like chris did he was literally looking for a reason not to help me making up lie and excuses to where i proved him wrong multiple times they are not about change they not about actually helping the aged out or fomer foster youths its all to fill there packets and clout because when i was begging just to put in a wish for me they lied and made every excuse not to so what are you doing for the former foster youth that need assistance besides being bias

Review for One Simple Wish, Trenton, NJ, USA

Rating: 2 stars

I really think they are a blessing and try but they also pick and chose whos worthy of the help and i guess im not so lucky. I was in a car accident and the think of us non profit was helping me to get assistance to make a big wish and at the last moment for some reason he changed his mind asking if i had a license and reassured him i did then asking about the car insurance like he was finding a reason not to help me and me geting my hopes up soon came the lies and excuses of not helping one simple wish told him and i that they do not do car wishes to where i find it odd because on there site and Instagram 5 hours after telling me they can not help me but go and help another young mom not just her but they helped many family's and many young people get cars new and repairs but flat out denying me help after the accident i was in a clearly in a bad place everything is falling apart my car my job school my house soon just really hurtful that there clearly bias and they contribute to the inequity of certin people im not asking for special treatment or puting down anyone of the young families that is geting help weather a new or repairs blame on them and i think they deserve it we all been tho so much in the system so nothing towards them in anyway . Its just hurts knowing that they are helping others for the exact same thing im asking for. The organization just contributes to the bias and inequity as to most others organization do there all the same make the rules the same for everyone and don't help one family but not the other be consistent with everyone and considerate of the feelings your saying no to

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Apply the same rules for everyone involved not picking and choosing who you want to help make eveyone feel equally important
