Transition from the service is a challenging experience. Veterans have developed deep relationships to both those they served with as well as the service and service culture they lived 365 days a year throughout their career. Starting the next chapter can be an uncomfortable experience when for the first time the canvas is blank and it is up to you to chart your course and draw up a second career. Thankfully, COMMIT Foundation exists to help you realize the amazing opportunity that the blank canvas presents. Through workshops, mentors, and coaches COMMIT has played an integral role in helping me to draw that career. COMMIT remains engaged with its alum and I am grateful for the experience.
