Above and Beyond is unlike any other place I've ever been and has been the most unique place to work. There is so much love, joy, and vibrancy in this space of healing. I have never seen a recovery center with so much color and personality, that has felt so immediately welcoming upon entry. They have wrap around services that provides a more holistic approach to addressing substance use disorder. From obtaining personal documents, to providing food and housing assistance, to addressing trauma and the physiological effects of substance use and trauma, to just being a place to be and feel safe. The very culture of the site feels like an oasis in a desert and the genuine care and concern received from everyone there is unparalleled. Staff, alumni, and clients all contribute to the healing and welcoming energy of the center.
