I have been volunteering with the WVCS mobile pantry for several years at one of their many sites, a low-income, senior apartment complex. Not only does WVCS meet a critical need by providing food for those who can't always afford it and by bringing it to their home, but they do it with such joy and dignity! Their clients are like old friends and always so thankful for the food, conversation, and respect.

I also have volunteered with the WVCS Back to School Shopping event and their Gift of Hope for the holidays. Again, the staff and volunteers do an amazing job of meeting the critical needs in the community while doing so with fun and compassion. This is a wonderful, caring organization!
