Simply stated, Blanca's House is a well oiled machine with a wonderful group of volunteers. Connor and Valerie lead the last mission I joined to Guayaquil, Ecuador in September 2023 and it was so organized and well run. They have made lifelong friends with local volunteers and it feels like going home to family. Despite the political upheaval currently plaguing the country, I never felt unsafe when I was with the Blanca's House crew. The Junior volunteers are exceptionally mature and intelligent, and it was as much a pleasure to provide for the people of Ecuador as it was to educate the this lovely group of future healthcare providers.
