Review for Snowbird Outfitters Inc, Andrews, NC, USA
I was told that the camp was "unlike anything else" by my friend who had worked there as a counselor the two previous summers. She had recommended the camp to me. I didn't have plans to be a counselor at all the summer but after visiting the camp for a weekend I knew I had made the right decision and I was convinced she was right.
The full-time staff is authentic, completely passionate about the Lord God and sold-out to making the name of Christ known. They are the most self-sacrificing people I've ever known. I feel priveledged to know them. They invest in *every counselor that serves on staff. The relationships between the fulltime staff and summer staff and the summer staff and the students are extremely special. They are some of the richest friendships I have. The staff are wholeheartedly committed to living out the gospel- it is incredible and unlike any other Christian group, team or organization I have ever witnessed or been apart of.
The staff trains you well. They do everything they say we can expect from them- and more. The camp is run well. The camp director is the most God honoring man I've ever met in my life. You can see how the Lord has annointed him to lead this camp. The camp has been doing student ministry for over ten years now and they have learned from their experiences what they need to do to have the summer camp run well. It is apparent by the way the camp functions that the staff has great leadership skills and much wisdom.
I've seen them handle pressure. Spiritual, physical, circumstancial emergencies they have handled with integrity and love. It is obviously God at work through them to allow them to cope so well in such dire circumstances.
I have seen students come in and be changed forever by the presence of God resonating over the camp. I've seen more miracles than I have time to tell. God definately has His hand in Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
working for (right underneath the fulltime staff) counseling the students who come to camp.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I can not think of anything.
