The Material Innovation Initiative is doing important work in the next-gen material space, and I admire the diversity of thought and scientific rigour on their team. I had the most pleasant and enjoyable experience with the Material Innovation Initiative both as an intern starting out in the material space, and later, having Dr. Sydney Gladman as a technical advisor for a global initiative targeting post-consumer textiles led by the Biomimicry Institute.
