Fresh air, pristine surroundings, quietness and solitude - nature like it used to be! Like many of you my soul aches for that, and Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT) provides that for all of us. MALT is the leading voice for land and water conservation along Colorado’s Front Range communities, serving a 4,830 square mile service area. Their mission is to preserve natural areas, wildlife habitat, streams and rivers, working ranches and historic lands for the benefit of the community and as a legacy for future generations. In addition to their managed properties, they have been successful in creating access to large parcels of previously landlocked public lands on which I love to hike and bike.
