I have been volunteering with Alliance for the Great Lakes since 2020 and thru their volunteering program, I have been exposed to many opportunities to protect our Great Lakes and learnt about freshwater ecosystems. I was also fortunate enough to be able to meet with their volunteer leadership team and the team is very warm and welcoming. I have always been passionate about everything related to water and being a volunteer with Alliance for the Great Lakes, I am able to share the importance of the Great Lakes to family, friends, and communities. I love the organization with a well-defined goal of protecting the Great Lakes and so far, all the leadership that I encountered with Alliance for the Great Lakes is very professional, knowledgeable and respectful.
