Review for San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, San Diego, CA, USA
The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation has been life saving to me and my family. I have known Stephanie
Bidegain the COO for at least 6 years now. She and Dr. Roslyn Knox,The Executive Director, give it their all everyday to the brain injury community. I am the mother to a brain injury survivor who lives in Howard House, SDBIF's 24 hour care facility. This facility is home to my son. It is a great place with wonderful caring staff and therapists. I am a board member and have been for a little over a year. What an honor to volunteer alongside such amazing people. To list all the things SDBIF offers free of charge to the TBI community is more than I probably can put in this box. Some examples are monthly peer to peer support group meetings, monthly Family and caregiver support group meetings, monthly speaker series, very informative news letter, scholarships, help line, quarterly forums ano community events. My life,my son's life, my family's life would not be where it is today without SDBIF! Thank
you SdBIF for giving us our lives back!
Review for San Diego Brain Injury Foundation, San Diego, CA, USA
My son suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury in 2016 and I soon became very familiar with The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation. I called them many times for support and resources. They have been invaluable in our lives. When something like a TBI happens to a family you don’t know where to turn so The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation is a lifeline for the families. And they do so much for the brain injury survivors. They have support groups, educational meetings, art classes and many other events that bring the survivors out and meet eachother and get the support they need. They also have a residential home for survivors that our son now lives in. This foundation has literally been our life saver since that horrible accident. We are so thankful and grateful to them and all that they are and all that they do.
