People getting bitten by dogs is in most cases due to misunderstandings between the two species. To prevent this problem it is essential for both adults and children to learn to read canine body language and to behave in a way that dogs view as non-threatening. Doggone Safe is a pioneering organization working on educating people through their bite prevention program. Their work is extremely valuable!
