"Literacy [actually] is for everyone" when your connected with Beyond Basics. I have had the absolute pleasure to work alongside the team at Beyond Basics. They are an amazing group of people who are devoted to helping every American learn to read at grade level or beyond. Recently, Beyond Basics brought their story and approach to literacy to Washington, DC to share with key decisionmakers and stakeholders with a focus on education. It was an inspiring day and the beginning of a broader discussion about the need for programs like the one created by Beyond Basics to be available for all students across America.
