CAMP Camp offers excellent service-learning and volunteer experiences. For nearly a decade, students in one of my courses have been engaging in service-learning at Camp and other CAMP Camp programs like Parents Night Out (PNO) and Teen and Adult Day Adventures (TADA). If you are looking for a place to understand and form allyship with the people with disabilities in our community, this is the place. My students consistently report that these experiential learning opportunities are important for their learning about inclusion and evidence-based strategies for supporting disabled learners in school and society. The appreciate how CAMP Camp provides them training and support in their service. It is a great organization for volunteering and partnerships!
