Following our April 2016 relocation to JAX, we found K9’s For Warriors when searching the web for a local non-profit animal or veteran organization to support. How lucky we were to find K9FW, bundling both together. Our family is honored to support K9FW both on a volunteer and donor level. Engaging on campus with the warrior team provides us special insight into the effort everyone contributes, ensuring we are reducing veteran suicide with every graduating warrior/dog team.

Having experienced the heartbreak K9’s for Warriors so passionately works to avoid, we use every opportunity available to educate others about their mission. Sharing the story of Shari Duval and her vision for K9’s has helped us encourage others to join the team. Staff and volunteers work together, assisting veterans suffering from PTSD as they seize the opportunity to pair with a service dog who can change the trajectory of their post-active-duty life and tremendously impact their family’s lives as well. The transparency of the organization is refreshing to us and we fully support the manner in which they utilize funds to further enhance the lives of veterans and their new battle buddies.
