I've been a platoon leader as part of TMC for a while and I could say this has been one of the greatest opportunities for me, not only as an individual, but as a professional. I am able to not only utilize my skills to help undeserved communities in my area, but also learn skills that I thought I would never need. Throughout my time, I've made great connections on both sides, which led to long lasting friendships and opportunities I probably wouldn't had received anywhere else. I would recommend The Mission Continues to any veteran who wants to continue serving after you take off the uniform in their communities. And nine times out of then, you get fed. How you gonna say no to food?
