My Nonprofit Reviews

A Mother's Arms was a home away from home on Wednesdays. A place where we could take a break and really just focus on ourselves and our growth for a couple hours while sharing different points of view with ladies who have gone through similar things. This pushed me to go out of my comfort zone and to not feel guilty for pouring into myself. There are certain quotes from the book that still stay with me like " you cannot change what you tolerate"; with this in mind I have found a new outlooks in many situations where I find myself tolerating things because it is what I was used to; however change and growth does not come from being comfortable. I thank A Mother's Arms for pouring into me and my journey to growth and confidence.
