Hi! My name is Kerry and I came across Wild Love Preserve and Andrea Maki through friends who were heeding a call for help to help with fencing. After ten years Andrea received a sizable donation to purchase 10,000 acres of the most perfect land for a ‘forever home’ for over 200 wild horses (and a few colts), in the high desert of Eastern Oregon along the John Day River.

A calling of the heart, Andrea has shifted her focus from the art world she springs from to create a non-profit that has filled a need for our wild horses, successfully bringing together all concerned stakeholder's,… farmer, neighbors, the Bureau of Land Management!
A joy; it was long and hot, hard work but truly the most satisfying to date, and intend to go back to help in any way I can.

A one woman show on a vast stage, she deserves a hand, (lots of them!)
