I am a 25 year Naval Officer approaching retirement and transition to the civilian sector in the next year, which is a stress and anxiety triggering event. Introduced to the COMMIT Foundation by a peer, I soon found that this organization offered just the assistance that transitioning veterans need as they face the approaching unknowns of retirement. Offering an online program called Pursue Your Purpose, a hand-selected certified coach, and for some, an in-person workshop, they help to guide military professionals through the myriad of challenges they face in transition. Not only is the program phenomenal, but the family-like network that is gained as an alumnus is truly life-changing and this organization is one of the best I have ever experienced! The organization should continue to be recognized as a GREAT NON-PROFIT!
