Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
I started volunteering with SAFE in September of 2010. I feel honored to be a part of this wonderful organization that rescues abused and malnutritioned horses. I have gotten to witness the transformation of these majestic animals and the love that Jaime Taft (one of the owners) and all of the volunteers, including myself have for these horses. I started out cleaning stalls and now I have been trained to feed the horses. Each horse has a special diet formulated to fit each one’s particular need. It is truly amazing to see how loved and cared for, each one of SAFE’s horses are.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in my hours spent volunteering. The horses are friendly and although most were once abused, you can see the trust they have for humans because of the wonderful work that SAFE does in rehabilitating them.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I wouldn't change a thing. I have seen only positive results, everyone from the owner to the volunteers are passionate and caring.
