Rose of Sharon is truly a one of a kind healing site, offering all visitors an innovative therapeutic experience, as they interact with the horses and ponies, in a warm and welcoming community barn experience. Their special programming with persons living with dementia provides the opportunity for remarkable, meaningful engagement as those living with cognitive challenges groom and pet their equine companions, and converse with staff and volunteers, reminiscing about their lives. This organization and its visionary founder, board, staff and volunteers is truly an asset to the entire community.
