We visited NY in 2004 for my husbands 40'th birthday and we wanted to visit places that local New York people would go to. We had a wonderful volunteer for the day who took us all over NY, and we saw places that we didn't even know exist, we were also given tickets to travel on the subway and buses. But Big Apple Greeter support and interest doesn't end there, when we had the bombings in London in2005 BAG contacted us hoping we were OK and sending their wishes to us. BAG are an amazing organisation, we would definately access them again when we return to NY and any support we can give we will.
