I am the Co-Founder of Pawsability Dog Club, a 501c3 non-profit dog daycare and grooming facility in Brooklyn, New York that supports autistic adults through job training and employment opportunities. We host a 7-week job training program for autistic adults interested in pursuing a career in pet care. Upon graduating from our program, graduates receive 2 certificates of completion. About 7 months ago, we started partnering with OAR's Hire Autism program to further support the Trainees. The Navigators in the Hire Autism program are all volunteers who are dedicated to helping autistic adults navigate the daunting process of interviewing, updating resumes and applying for jobs. Partnering with OAR to further support our Trainees was such a natural fit. Our missions align so perfectly and it's truly a pleasure working with their dedicated team of professionals.
